Position: CNC Machine Tool Technician/Mechanical

Location: Remote/Erie, PA (80%+ travel to various Customer sites in the USA & Canada)

Company Overview: WALDRICH COBURG North America, Inc. is a leading OEM specializing in heavy CNC machine tool production, service & repair. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team and ensure the operation and maintenance of our Customers’ WALDRICH COBURG vertical milling/turning/grinding machines.

Job Description:

• Perform regular inspections and level/alignment checks on WALDRICH COBURG large CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/technical issues with the machines.
• Repair or replace defective parts as needed.
• Calibrate and align machinery to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to optimize machine performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
• Create detailed reports/records of maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Machine Tool Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay Range (based on experience level): $30-$50/hr + competitive benefit package
